Shadowing Life & Death: A Cultural Intervention in Palliative Care
Wenting Yu
Nursing Student, Storyteller, Content Creator
A passionate advocate for culturally sensitive palliative care, Wenting Yu blends clinical expertise, medical anthropology, and Chinese literature to bridge health inequities in China. With a background in nursing and anthropological research, she has worked on numerous projects to improve the quality of hospice and palliative care, particularly for children and the elderly. Wenting is now actively exploring how storytelling and creative media can amplify the voices of terminally ill patients, address the death taboo in Chinese society, and foster greater public understanding of palliative care. In the near future, as a cultural content creator with a large following on Chinese social media, she plans to integrate her content creation skills to further these conversations.
